When I realized one of my oldest and favorite jackets had holes around the elbows from years of wear I whipped out my sewing kit. Here are some photos to guide you if you're ever in the same situation.
I picked out one of my favorite fabrics that I designed and had printed out with Spoonflower. I cut an oval in the dimensions of 4" x 6" with a thin cardboard box and cut the fabric to size.
I tucked in the edges and pinned them down.
It took me about an hour to sew both patches. I love the end restult!
